Ghost is built for publishing: server-side rendering, automatic sitemap, Article and Author schema out of the box.

What Ghost brings

Ghost delivers per post JSON-LD with Article, Author (as Person) and datePublished, plus Open Graph tags and a sitemap at /sitemap.xml. For most blogs, the technical GEO basis is thereby covered.

robots.txt

Ghost generates a default robots.txt. For bot-specific AI rules, override the file in the theme via the route configuration or serve it at the reverse proxy.

Sharpening author signals

For every author, add a bio and the profile links (website, professional profiles) — Ghost carries them into the Person schema as sameAs. This is the biggest lever for source selection.
